Harry Potter Marketing



This is the new poster for the Harry Potter film. The poster has Harry as the main focus and then hermione and ron in the background. All of the characters are running , this draws the attention on the characters as the person looking at the poster wonders where they are running too. There is also the main title in the middle at the bottom of the page. just above it is the words "the end begins" , this gets the audience excited for a big finale of all the Harry Potter films. There is also the image of blood spattered across the poster this makes the audience wonder who blood it is and this sort of marketing will make the audience want to go see the film to find out the answer to their questions.


This is an image of a ring binder marketing the film. The person who would buy this product is most likely to go and watch the film. The main focus is on the image of Harry and Ron and they have faded out the image of hermione in the background.


This is a xbox game Marketing the film. the game doesnt giva any of the film away so it keeps the audience in suspense and makes them want to see the film more. The main focus is on Harry but then the audiences eyes are drawn to the large image over the title of voldermorts eyes. the image suggest that Harry is running away from voldemort this makes the audience want to go see the film to find out why.



This image is the front cover of a movie magazine called empire. This is good marketing because the magazines target audience is people who go and watch films. If they see the advertisment of harry potter on the front of the magazine then they will go and watch the film. Just like other marketing ideas , harry is the main focus.



This image is off two massive billboards in london advertising the new Harry Potter film. this is good marketing because people walking or driving past will notice the billboard and want to go see the film and know what it is all about.



This image is marketing the film well. the words "nowhere is safe" add suspense and excitment to the idea of going to see the film. the expression on Ron's face show that he is serious and shows a tense moment. The film is so well known so the person making the poster is able to shorten and abreiviate the main title. the poster expects the audience to know what the film is.

This merchandise advertises harry potter and when people buy it it is almost certainly going to make them want to see the film. the main image on the mousemat is harry.

This bag is a good marketising product because once the person has bought the bag they will want to see the film. they may also carry the bag around with them . This may cause others to see the image on the bag and recognise the image and then they may also go and see the film.
